Brian Halligan provides both estate planning advice and estate and trust administration regarding New Jersey and New York. He creates estate plans to fit the particular needs and objectives of each client including providing for children and grandchildren, reducing exposure to taxes and creating an effective business succession plan for family businesses.
Mr. Halligan also provides legal advice with respect to administration of estates and trusts and prepares any necessary state inheritance tax returns and federal or state estate tax returns that may be required. Mr. Halligan also has extensive experience in litigation in estate and probate matters before the Superior Court of New Jersey Chancery Division in the event any issues arise between beneficiaries. He also has experience in representing clients in guardianship matters.
